During our trip through Ohio, we spent the night with Casey and Amanda, who had just completed some extensive renovations to their home. Over my recent flight to Austin, I completed editing the video down to what is below.
Sit back and listen to Casey as he explains all the little things (okay, flooring isn’t a little thing) you can do around the house to save money and the environment.
As promised, we have a new video – called “The Conversation.” It is essentially the same conversation I have with anyone I mention the trip to. Feel free to use it to show people generally how vegetable oil powered cars work.
For the past week, I’ve been working to put together a promo video for them video sharing thingies. Here’s the video:
Director’s notes:
I’ve never worked with video editing before, so I fired up my copy of iMovie (free with my powerbook), and now, a few days later I have a fairly decent looking video! All software should be this easy to use, Apple made me feel like Scorcese.
The music is a clip from “The Devil is Crossing Me,” by the Columbines. The track is licensed as Creative Commons, and is a great example of gritty road music.
Of course I call this a “video,” but really, there are zero moving images – it’s more of a powerpoint presentation than a movie .
