The
trip completed on 7/19/07 Thanks for watching! Feel free to browse through the blog to see how things went. Where things stand now: We moved to Chicago, IL at the beginning of May 2008 and decided to go carless, so we sold Minnie the car. She now belongs to a wonderful family in Ann Arbor, MI - if you see them, please say hello. Sacha is currently starting up a productivity instruction business now, please see RenewLab.com for more information. We are still blogging about life without a car in Chicago and other environment and biofuels related issues. About the trip: Spring 2007, we drove from Madison, WI to Portland, OR, the long way, powered by vegetable oil. Along the way, we taught people about biofuels and visited classrooms to demonstrate our car's fuel system.
